The Tonkawa Education Foundation is making a difference through excellence in education!
Through the work of many, it is with great pleasure that we boast over $540,000 in our endowment fund after 23 years.
TEF awards teacher grants yearly and in total has awarded 427 grants for more than $132,292 for educational initiatives in our classrooms. Grants have been awarded at Tonkawa elementary, middle school, and high school in the areas of science, technology, art, foreign language, reading, mathematics, vocal music, agriculture, band and many more exciting learning adventures through the joint efforts of businesses, individual donations and community fundraising.
It is with great purpose that we continue our mission. It is our belief that when "volunteers and givers make dreams come true," the youth of Tonkawa are the winners!
